Villa Umalas

Villa Umalas is a complex that incorporates 3 individual villa units located beside one another. All villas, Umalas 1, 2 and 3 are similar and use an uncomplicated design and colour scheme. The villas have the trappings of Bali style design with a private pool to while away your time reading a book or taking a dip during the heat of the day. With TV, DVD, stereo, comfortable beds and large fully stocked kitchen you have a home away from home created for your comfort.

Location
Located in Umalas, and only 45 minutes from the international airport, the villas are on the doorstep of Seminyak with its trendy boutiques and exciting nightlife. Only a short drive to the Umalas horse stables and a range of quality new restaurants located within a short driving distance, these villas are in a prime location.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms
The villas all have two and a half air-conditioned bedrooms. Two of the rooms are located on either side of the kitchen and have a green feature wall and white canopy roof over the mattress, with a drop down mosquito netting. Beautiful, wooden based Balinese style bed bases house the comfortable queen size mattress and a quilted duvet cover adds a touch of colour to the rooms. On either side of the bed there is a conveniently designed shelf to place all your bits and pieces and floral art adds to the feel of tropical Bali. A wardrobe is available in each room to hang your clothes. The half bedroom is located at the end of the living and dining room and also has a comfortable queen sized bed and is decorated simply in keeping with the size and shape of the room.

The bathrooms are an open style. A single basin faces a well-proportioned mirror. A toilet, an open shower with rain shower tap and bathtub are located on opposite sides of the bathroom and in small tropical garden continues the green theme.

Kitchen
The kitchen space is recessed between the two bedrooms and overlooks the living area and pool. An overhead ceiling fan keeps one cool while preparing or heating up meals. The kitchen is well equipped with microwave, blender, toaster, kettle, fridge and gas hotplates to make it easy to organise something to eat. A window at the back of the kitchen overlooks the outside and brings in natural light. There is sufficient crockery and cutlery for guest usage and a water dispenser is located in one corner closest to the dining area for cool or hot water. Artwork graces the white walls within this space.

Living and Dining Area
A beautiful high domed roof houses the living and dining room. To the left of the kitchen is the dining room. An oval, wooden dining table with four brown cushioned chairs can be used when those gourmet meals are whipped up in the kitchen. An overhead ceiling fan provides a cooling relief from hot days. Wooden masks are found on both the floor and wall closest to the kitchen area and a Balinese painting is on the wall beside the mask that adds to the cultural ambience of this villa. A stereo system sits on a wooden unit below the painting.

On the opposite side of the kitchen and closest to the entry is the living room. Artwork surrounds the walls and a TV with DVD sits on a wooden unit. A vase and wooden tray sit on either side of the TV unit. Two wooden sofas with brown cushion seating and red scatter cushions, a coffee table and brown footstool are located directly in front of the kitchen space. This is a wonderful place to read your book or sit and talk with family or friends, watch TV or just enjoy the view of the pool.

Swimming Pool
Surrounded by a small tropical garden, the swimming pool is an inviting space to enjoy doing laps, take a dip on a hot day or play games with the kids. Sun lounges provide opportunities to sunbake and get a tan or quietly enjoy your drink or a book. In Villa Umalas 2 there is a white picket fence surrounding the pool that acts to highlight this space and also prevent young children from entering the pool unsupervised.
